Treatment

UV OIL

Before Treatment
Sanded before applying oil
Treate-by Andrew Whyman : 1 coat of virgin oak and 2 coats of UV Oil

Treatex UV oil penetrates deeply into timber surfaces and, in a similar way to bark, attaches to the wood capillaries providing protection against extreme climate conditions.

Manufactured on a base of refined natural oils such as soybean and sunflower oil and waxes, Treatex UV Oil is designed for use on most vertical timbers and applications (excluding horizontal surfaces such as decking and walkways) and can be used over Treatex Exterior Oils and Classic Colour Collection. Treatex UV Oil is the ideal finish for cladding, doors, windows and other exterior joinery.

EXTERIOR OILS

Sanded before applying oil

Treatex Exterior Oils are manufactured on a base of natural sustainable raw materials including Sunflower oil, Soy-bean oil, natural waxes and are free of toxic substances. Treatex Exterior Oils are the ideal new or renovation finish for decking, cladding, doors, windows, garden structures and other exterior joinery.

Treatex Exterior Oils penetrate deeply into timber surfaces and in a similar way to bark, attach to the wood capillaries providing protection against extreme climate conditions through a highly water repellent, weather and UV resistant* surface that can prevent the formation of cracks and swelling in the surface after treatment.

*please note: Clear is not a UV protective finish and timbers treated only with Clear will break down and bleach in sunlight much quicker than any of the other options in the range. Clear should only be used to overcoat one of the colour options in the Exterior Oils range. For a near clear finish with UV protection, please use ‘Sheer’ or for the best protection, use one of our more pigmented options.

CEDAR OILS

Treatex Cedar Oil penetrates deeply into timber surfaces and in a similar way to bark, attaches to the wood capillaries providing protection against extreme climate conditions. It is manufactured on a base of natural sustainable raw material including sunflower oil, safflower oil and soybean oil. Treatex Cedar Oil is designed for use on timbers like cedar and larch.

GREY CEDAR OIL

Treatex Grey Cedar Oil penetrates deeply into timber surfaces and in a similar way to bark, attaches to the wood capillaries providing protection against extreme climate conditions.

Treatex Grey Cedar Oil will immediately enhance the colour of Cedar to achieve the naturally greyed effect that comes with age, whilst still protecting and allowing the timber to mature. This can be maintained through future applications of Grey Cedar Oil or be left to mature naturally over time as required.

Douglas fir protection

Treatex Douglas Fir Protection is a solvent free exterior wood finish which offers long lasting weather protection. It is manufactured on a base of natural sustainable raw materials including linseed oil, sunflower oil and soybean oil.

CLASSIC COLOUR COLLECTION

Treatex Classic Colour Collection is a high quality opaque wood finish which has been tried and tested in extreme conditions such as on the coast and in the mountains. This product is manufactured on a base of natural sustainable raw materials including: sunflower oil, soybean oil, beeswax and carnauba wax. Treatex Classic Colour Collection can be used on all types of timber and is the ideal finish for doors, windows, fences, sheds, cladding, kitchen cabinets and other interior or exterior joinery.
